Location and work model
Your impact
Own test planning and execution for product risks with increasing autonomy. QA II professionals analyze requirements, prioritize coverage by risk and work close to product and engineering to anticipate problems before they reach users.
- Turn requirements and acceptance criteria into risk-based test plans
- Combine exploratory, functional and regression strategies to protect releases
- Test APIs and data flows, investigating inconsistencies down to the database
- Reproduce network and performance conditions with proxy and throttling tools
- Make quality visible with useful documentation, clear reports and honest status
- Support the growth of interns and junior analysts through review and example
Experience and skills
- Consistent experience with functional, exploratory and regression testing
- Ability to prioritize coverage based on risk and impact
- API testing experience with tools such as Postman or Insomnia, plus SQL queries
- Network debugging with proxy tools such as Charles, including throttling scenarios
- Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience working in agile teams
- Test automation knowledge (UI or API) and performance testing awareness are welcome
- CTFL certification is valued
